We all face numerous challenges in our daily lives, and sometimes, our emotions can get the better of us.

This month's Gentle Yoga session we’ll engage in gentle yoga, somatic exercises, and journaling and develop the tools needed to counteract these intense emotions and find inner balance.

Why should you care about regulating your emotions? Simply put, unmanaged emotions can wreak havoc on your overall well-being. They can create a constant state of stress, affecting your relationships, personal growth, and even physical health. It's time to take control and discover the transformative power of emotional regulation.

 

Together, we will explore gentle yoga movements and somatic exercises that will help release tension, promote relaxation, and create a sense of groundedness within yourself.

 

All of our gentle yoga sessions are joined by a licensed mental health therapist. This means that not only will you have the opportunity to practice somatic exercises and yoga, but you will also have access to real-time support and guidance from an expert who can help you navigate and process your emotions.

 

This combination offers a holistic approach to emotional regulation, ensuring that you receive comprehensive support on your healing journey.

Tracy Rosas

Yoga Instructor

My yoga journey started over 15 years ago as a college student in New York City. Like many, I was a bit hesitant about this new experience. Fortunately over the years, I found myself drawn closer and closer to the principles of yoga. With each practice, my love for yoga grew and began to understand I was working on myself, physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga has helped me to settle my mind. I took my passion a step further and completed my Yoga Teacher Training with the Yoga and Ayurveda Center.

 

​As a yoga instructor and working mom, with countless daily challenges, I want to share my love for the practice, spread positive energy and hope to teach others to find their peace, to live strong in body and mind and to be kind to yourself, always.
