A Note from Justine
At the heart of Lotus Theory is a simple belief: we are all inherently deserving of love, belonging, and peace.
For me, this work began with the realization that healing isn’t a single moment. It’s a continuous unfolding. I’ve always been curious about how people find their way back to themselves after loss, disconnection, or change. That curiosity became a calling to build a space where therapy feels human, grounded, and accessible to all.
That vision became Lotus Theory, a practice that integrates evidence-based therapy with somatic and experiential approaches to support both mind and body. Every service, every session, and every conversation is guided by the same intention: to help people feel safe enough to soften, strong enough to grow, and connected enough to belong.
About The Balance Formula
The Balance Formula is the framework that grounds all of our work at Lotus Theory.
SERENITY + STRENGTH + LOVE + LIFE = BALANCE ®
It grew from years of practice, reflection, and collaboration with clients who wanted to feel more balanced but didn’t know where to begin. The Formula explores four essential variables: Serenity, Strength, Love, and Life.
Together, they offer a path for cultivating awareness, steadiness, and genuine joy. It’s not about perfection; it’s about learning to return to center, again and again.

My Approach
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I draw from trauma-informed and evidence-based methods, but my approach is deeply human.
I believe healing happens in the space between structure and spontaneity, between what is known and what is felt. That is why our work at Lotus Theory includes not only talk therapy but also movement, sound, and embodied practices. Healing takes many forms, and every form deserves space.
