Understanding Autism and ADHD

Session Details

This month's Professional Development Workshop is a 2-in-1 workshop and will provide an overview of both Autism and ADHD. This workshop will introduce clinicians to several approaches for treating Autism and ADHD. The first part of the workshop will focus on Autism. We will discuss the definition and characteristics of Autism, along with some common approaches for treating this disorder. The second part of the workshop will focus on ADHD. We will discuss what ADHD is, how it impacts individuals, and some possible treatment options. The workshop serves to help clinicians understand how to support clients who are on the spectrum or are managing their ADHD.
