This program is designed to support you in cultivating a loving relationship with your mind and body. It is founded on the principle that smooth and gentle movements can help retrain the nervous system and facilitate the relaxation of tense muscles, leading to recovery. 

 

Our program promotes personal choice as you practice yoga. You decide what poses work from your body. Our routines infused with somatic principles incorporate suitable yoga postures to enhance healing. Our hope is to inspire you to gradually move into a more active lifestyle.

Our Somatic Yoga Sessions:

  • Employ Trauma-Sensitive Lens and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

  • Focus on the participant experience within a posture rather than the aesthetic of the pose and/or performance

  • Emphasize making choices and staying present in your mind and body

  • Are guided by a licensed mental health professional to effectively process emotions and mental blocks in real time

  • Are held monthly, each month features a new topic

  • Generally run 45 mins in length

Recordings and Confidentiality

  • All sessions are recorded, and playbacks are available for registered participants for 5 days, allowing you to revisit the session at your convenience.

  • We prioritize your confidentiality. Participants have the option to request that certain parts of the session not be recorded for privacy reasons.

While session recordings are a great tool, attending live is unmatched. It offers real-time interaction and the rich, immersive experience of live insights from our clinicians.

Paola Volquez, LCSW, RYT, RCYT

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a 200hr Yoga Alliance-Certified Instructor. I was first introduced to yoga over 10 years ago through community-based yoga classes. Yoga served as my first instruction to an active form of meditation. This practice helped me to acquire the skills to silence my chatty mind because sitting meditation practices were very challenging for me. 

 

As my personal yoga practice progressed, I developed a desire to share my knowledge, particularly with children and communities with limited access to yoga.

 

As a social worker I am passionate about empowering people and being of service to others. My purpose is to inspire others to thrive, cultivate emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness both on and off the mat.

Standard Session Rate: $25

 

Each of our live sessions is priced at a flat rate of $25. This competitive price point allows you to enjoy our live, interactive wellness programs without financial worry.

Insurance Billing Option

For your convenience, we provide the option to bill your insurance for our services. However, please be aware that we are unable to guarantee insurance coverage for our services. We encourage you to consult with your insurance provider in advance to verify if our therapeutic wellness services are covered under your policy.

No Refund Policy

Due to the live and interactive nature of our program, we maintain a no refund policy. Once a session is booked and conducted, we cannot offer refunds. However, our team is dedicated to ensuring that every session provides maximum value and supports your wellness journey effectively.

 

By booking a session, you acknowledge and accept both our no refund policy and the possibility that insurance coverage may not be provided. Our goal is to foster a straightforward and stress-free experience as you work toward achieving greater health and wellbeing.
